No. There is no account, no sign-in and no server behind Bae. Her lines, her mood and everything she remembers live on your Mac only.

The single network request the app makes is a check for a newer version. Read the privacy policy.

No. She notices when your camera or microphone is live and stays quiet until the call ends. On top of that there are quiet hours, a minimum gap between appearances, and a focus timer in the menu bar for when you need a clean stretch.

Any Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens normally with no Gatekeeper warning.

Quit from the menu bar, then drag Bae out of Applications into the Trash. Nothing keeps running and no system settings are touched. She will take it personally, but she will go.
